Senior journalist and anchorperson Najam Sethi has claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was getting all information from his sources within the establishment.
During a TV show, Najam Sethi claimed that some elements in the establishment are supporting the PTI chief Imran Khan.
He added that Imran Khan is getting all information from his sources within the establishment and it is a very dangerous situation for the establishment itself.
Sethi said that there are two opinions in the establishment regarding Imran Khan. Some of them were seeking strict action against Khan as he is becoming dangerous for the military and establishment, whereas, others are backing the PTI chief and seeking relaxation for him.
He said that Imran Khan was playing his political game due to his support from some elements of the establishment and his statement regarding the army chief’s appointment was proof of his backing from inside the establishment.

Analysts questioned how Najam Sethi would prove his claims regarding Imran Khan’s support from the establishment as the PTI chief was gradually facing restrictions from the coalition government enjoying complete support from the power matrix.
They said that even court orders were violated for Imran Khan’s live speeches and recently, the federal authorities blocked the YouTube service during his last speech in Peshawar.
Khan’s statement regarding the army chief’s appointment has recently brought a strong reaction from the military’s media wing than how Sethi could claim about PTI chief’s backing from inside the establishment, analysts said.
