However, Tareen did not give any reaction to PM Khan’s willingness to meet him so far, sources added.

No-confidence motion: PML-Q shows its cards to opposition

The opposition’s ongoing efforts to bring a no-confidence motion and PPP’s long march to Islamabad have apparently pushed the Imran Khan-led PTI government to contact Tareen.

It is important to mention here that Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed had advised PM Imran Khan to meet Jahangir Tareen in his back-to-back three press conferences.

In another press conference conducted by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry, a journalist questioned him whether PM Imran Khan is going to meet Tareen in the coming day. However, Fawad Chaudhry kept silent instead of accepting or denying it.

Imran khan Jahangir tareen No-confidence motion PPP long march

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had started a long march from Ghotki to Karachi on Saturday. On the other hand, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had started a long march towards Islamabad on Sunday (yesterday).

Moreover, PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari is fully activated to bring the no-confidence motion against the PTI government. Analysts said that it is difficult to predict something about the political future.

They said that the opposition would definitely regret to delay accepting Zardari’s suggestion at the time when Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was fully active, however, the opposition parties are not on the same page as yet.

Analysts said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) will have to bring a no-trust move in Punjab province first to make the no-confidence motion successful in the Centre before going to other provinces.
