Imran Khan Will Not Be Given NRO: Moulana Fazl

PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief and head of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Moulana Fazlur Rehman has said that they will not give NRO to Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He expressed these views while addressing a public meeting organized by the Opposition Alliance PDM at Ring Road Chowk in Peshawar.
JUI Chief said that the opposition has not demanded any kind of NRO from PTI government.
But it is the Government, which is keen to get NRO from opposition however PDM has decided to make them accountable.
“Imran Khan will not be given NRO” Moulana added.
Speaking in Peshawar, he further said that the Institutions should do their work within the constitution.” If the security agencies perform their duties, they are the crown of our heads and brothers. If they interfere in political affairs, then it will not to be tolerated” he added.
He deplored the poor state of economy, saying that in 2018 it was estimated that growth rate in 2019 would be 5.5 per cent and will continue to grow.
JUI Chief said that the economic system of the country is weakening day by day and if the economy was weak then the country could not be developed.
The PTI government, however, had ruined the economy, he said.

Rehman Claimed that the PTI led federal government had ruined bilateral relations with neighbors including China, Iran and Afghanistan.
Moulana Fazal Rehman once again alleged that the 2018 elections were rigged and said that all political parties were agreed on this point.
JUI Chief said that the government was “flustered” by opposition rallies and added the rulers “should now be shamed and sent home”.
Meanwhile, Kamran Bangash, special assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has said that People of Peshawar has rejected the opposition.
He said that the rights of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially the tribal districts under the 25th amendment were not being digested. Kamran Bangash alleged that the PDM leaders did not care about the lives and welfare of the people.
Statements were exchanged between the ruling PTI and opposition leaders before the PDM meeting in Peshawar.
The government opined that PDM had not taken precautionary measures against Corona during its previous meetings.
Therefore, They will no longer be allowed to hold a rally in Peshawar, however PDM leaders said they would hold a meeting in any case.
According to the News360 correspondent in Peshawar, the city administration and police had set up roadblocks before the opposition public gathering. Police tried to stop participants at various places.
There have also been reports of sporadic clashes between police and participants.
Later PDM said that many people couldn’t reach out the meeting because of these obstacles.

According to correspondent Anila Shaheen, based on the drone camera footage and the seats in the venue, it can be said that 18,000 to 20,000 people were able to attend the PDM meeting on Sunday.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz vice president Maryam Nawaz did not address the meeting as she had received news of her grandmother’s death.
Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also kept his speech short.
