Imran Khan’s mistakes: Asad Ali Shah responds to Shahzeb Khanzada’s criticism

Asad Ali Shah responded to Geo News anchorperson Shahzeb Khanzada's criticism of PTI chief Imran Khan's mistake.

Asad Ali Shah, the son of former Sindh chief minister and Pakistan People’s Party senior leader Qaim Ali Shah, responded to Geo News anchorperson Shahzeb Khanzada’s criticism of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s mistake.

He wrote on Twitter, “I personally consider the admission of one’s mistakes a good thing. Politicians are also human beings and they make mistakes like others. It should be praised to admit our mistakes and take lessons from them instead of mockery.”

Shah was commenting on Khanzada’s tweet in which he highlighted Khan’s U-turns on various policy issues including COAS extension, Justice Qazi Faez Isa, CEC appointment, IMF, Malaysia conference, amnesty scheme and others which the PTI chief considered his mistakes.

Asad Ali Shah further said, “It takes guts and humility to admit mistakes. Admitting we’re wrong is courage, not weakness.”

A netizen commented that the mistakes of common people and influential persons should be differentiated as the mistakes of high-ups risk the fate of a country or nation.

To this, Shah replied, “Not justifying & promoting mistakes, but people who recognise & admit mistakes are far better than those who think they never make mistakes. As George Bernard Shaw said, “A life spent making mistakes is not only more honourable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.”
