Jumanji 4 is Coming Sooner Than We Think

Garcia and his team at Seven Bucks are gearing up for the release of their Red Notice movie on Netflix.

Jumanji 4: introduced the world to a new installment of the classic film starring Robin Williams in 1995. Skeptics arose out of abundance when it was announced that Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart would star in a remake of the film.

Many thinking it was one of those properties that should be left alone, as some would say. $800 million at the box office later and many of those minds changed, were well received by critics and fans and spawned a follow-up movie in 2019.

Now, Jumanji 4: Producer Hiram Garcia has revealed its third installment, the fourth Jumanji overall, it might be closer to being made than we think.

Right now, Garcia and her team at Seven Bucks are gearing up for the release of their Red Notice movie on Netflix, which opened in select theaters this weekend before debuting on the streaming service on November 12.

We have a great vision for movie, “Garcia said.” So we are excited about that. We will accept it soon. And obviously the goal is sometime afte Jake is making Red one for us, that will be next. But sometime after Red One comes out, Jumanji is going to be on deck. I feel like we will have everything ready by then and we can get into that third installment

Red One was revealed this summer as a Christmas action-adventure movie that sees Johnson under the direction of Jumanjies Kasdan once again. It will land on Amazon as a streaming movie next year.

So it looks like all eyes will turn to a new Jumanji movie. With how the team has already managed to outdo themselves once, adding Danny DeVito and Donald Glover to a cast that already included Johnson, Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan it’s hard to imagine raising the stakes even further!

It’s going to be good, man, ”Garcia said. It’s really, it’s fun, and it’s smart. It’s a really smart take. And Jake has been spearheading that, and he’s brilliant.

Garcia and the Seven Bucks team have a lot on their plate in the meantime, starting with Red Notice. Next summer, Garcia will launch Black Adam, as well as an animated Pet League Super Series. His list of announced projects also includes Doc Savage, Little China Big Trouble, and Emily Blunt star Kate Warne.
