Reacting to the killing of a Sri Lankan manager in Sialkot, journalist Mukesh Kumar shared a message on social networking site Twitter, saying, “Yesterday, a Sri Lankan was brutally killed in Siakot.”

Condemning the Sialkot tragedy, blogger Salman Dawood wrote, “Sialkot is the second highest earning city after Karachi. There is little to condemn the tragedy that has taken place. Do not attribute this inhumane act of so-called extremist religious groups like Tehreek-e-Labeek to all Sialkotis. Whether it is Sindh or Punjab, Balochistan or KPK, they are all ours.”

It may be recalled that on December 3, Sri Lankan manager Pranitha Kumara was brutally beaten to death by employees at a factory in Sialkot on charges of blasphemy and her body was later set on fire.
Taking stern notice of the killing of the Sri Lankan manager, Prime Minister Imran Khan had ordered law enforcement agencies to arrest the culprits immediately and demanded a report.
Police have arrested more than 200 people including 13 main accused while the arrested accused are being interrogated on various aspects.
