Khurram Dastgir's joke with pakistanis suffering from power breakdown

Even after 24 hours of the historic breakdown of electricity in the country, electricity has not been fully restored in the entire country, while Federal Energy Minister Khurram Dastgir claimed about 12 hours ago that the process of restoring electricity has started.

Constituents say that it is a joke that Khurram Dastgir is making claims as if an enemy country had cut off our electricity and they have regained electricity under the leadership of the Prime Minister.

Sharing the message on Twitter, Federal Energy Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan has written that “Alhamdulillah, we have started restoration of electricity across the country.”

Paying tribute to the Prime Minister and his team, Khurram Dastgir Khan further wrote that “This has become possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the multi-party government under his leadership.”

Addressing Khurram Dastgir, social circles say that the federal minister will tell what leadership skills were used to restore electricity in Shahbaz Sharif. Khurram Dastgir would like to tell how the leadership has helped restore the grid? Would Khurram Dastgir like to tell whose incompetence tripped up the whole system?

Social circles have further criticized Khurram Dastgir Khan and said that if you have permission, start writing to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as Engineer Shehbaz Sharif.

It should be noted that after the country’s biggest historical breakdown at 7:35 am yesterday, the entire country was plunged into darkness in the federal capital Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar.

A major power breakdown occurred in the high tension power supply line between Quetta and Guddu.

22 districts, including Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, were completely deprived of electricity.

Power supply from 117 grade stations supplying power to Islamabad was completely stopped.

Even after the passage of 24 hours, many areas of Mall Road and Canal Road in Lahore are still deprived of electricity restoration.

In this way, several areas of Karachi, the capital of Sindh province and the economic hub, are still deprived of electricity, even Clifton and Defense, the most expensive and posh areas of Karachi, have not yet received complete electricity.

Power generation was below 7,000 MW this morning, informed sources said, adding that “up to 6,000 MW was being produced”.

Sources said that more than 12 power plants have already been shut down due to various technical glitches. Guddu, Jamshoro, Muzaffargarh power plants were not running. Sources said that the 969 MW Neelum Jhelum Power Project has been closed for the last eight months due to technical problems.
