Shakib-ul-Hasan said that the building in which I was staying was very weak and on the verge of collapsing, but the police officials provided immediate help and sent me to a temporary center.

The Pakistani student said that his residential building has been sealed while all the students have been shifted to a temporary center, but what will happen next and where we will go, is not known.

Shakib Al Hasan, a Pakistani student studying in Turkey, said that 1,600 people have lost their lives so far, while thousands of people are buried under the rubble.

It should be remembered that earthquakes have caused destruction in Turkey and Syria yesterday. According to reports so far, the death toll has reached 4825 while the series of aftershocks continues.

So far 3381 people have died in Turkey, while the number of deaths in Syria has reached 1444. According to the World Health Organization, deaths can reach 20 thousand.

Relief operations are ongoing after the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria yesterday. According to an estimate, 25 thousand people have also been injured.
