LHC orders to produce Pervaiz Elahi before court on Tuesday
The Lahore High Court has ordered to recover former chief minister of Punjab Pervaiz Elahi from the Attock jail and produce him before the court tomorrow (Tuesday).
The LHC also issued a contempt of court notice to the IG of Islamabad police while directing the District and Sessions Judge to produce Elahi in the court tomorrow.
LHC Justice Muhammad Amjad Rafiq conducted the hearing on the plea filed by the PTI president’s wife Qaisara Elahi, seeking contempt proceedings against the DIGs for allegedly disobeying LHC’s order restraining the authorities from arresting or detaining Elahi.
