Man found hanging dead from bridge in Islamabad

Islamabad’s citizens woke up on Monday morning to the gruesome scene of a dead body hanging from a bridge.

The body was found hanging from a pedestrian bridge in sector I-9 on Monday. The sight of the body hanging amid dense fog made for a grim scene.

According to sources, the man has been identified as Umar Shaham, a 30-year-old resident of sector I-9/1.

Videos of the incident also went viral on social media.

Police Station Aabpara has launched an investigation into the matter. The possibility of suicide is also being looked into.
