Mohenjo Daro Gets Featured in Cosmos Show

One of the oldest cities in the world and located in Pakistan’s Sindh province, MohenJo-Daro, got featured in the Cosmos show.
MohenJo-Daro which literally translates to ‘Mound of the Dead Men’ was featured in the Cosmos show hosted by famous American astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson.
The show highlighted advancements of one of the oldest cities in the world and of the Indus Valley Civilization that dates back to 2,500 BCE.
According to Wikipedia, “It was one of the largest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley Civilisation, and one of the world’s earliest major cities, contemporaneous with the civilizations of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Minoan Crete, and Norte Chico”.
The well-planned city caught the attention of the Cosmos show for various reasons that are embedded in its structure built hundreds of centuries ago.

However, for the wonder it is, the Indus Valley Civilization is not widely known as a tourist site, locally and internationally, as it should have been.
The government can advertise the reflection of the civilization hidden in the ancient city to the world so that history enthusiasts from across the world could visit it and get astonished to see the marvelously built structure.
Pakistan is home to a number of ancient civilizations but they have not been well-projected to their potential by the government.
If the practice is followed, the government can attract a huge segment of tourists which can also help to propagate the soft image of Pakistan.
