Gharidah Farooqi, the female anchor of a private TV channel has revealed that she had invited two of the key members of Ulema delegation that had held successful negotiations with the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan to her show but they refused.
Gharidah Farooqi took to the Twitter and said:” I invited Mufti Muneebur Rehman and Maulana Bashir to my show to answer questions, but they refused reasoning that they don’t make conversation with women.”

But, on the other hand Mufti Muneeb is seen on TV shows being hosted by female anchors. One such example is his appearance with female anchor Mahar Bukhari on a local TV.

The question arises that why Mufti Muneeb did not gave a correct reason for not appearing in the Gharidah Farooqi’s show.
Earlier, the government and the TLP had reached an agreement after successful talks led by Mufti Muneebur Rehman.
His successful dialogue with the banned TLP was seen as his befitting reply to Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, who had been busy adding fuel to the fire by his statements throughout the crisis. He is also used to target clerics especially the Mufti Muneeb.
Mufti Muneeb held successful talks and reached an agreement with the banned outfit when entire government machinery had failed to handle the crisis gripped the whole country.
