WEB DESK: Renowned anchorperson and lawyer, Naeem Bokhari has been recently appointed as Chairman Pakistan Television Corporation’s (PTV) Board for three years by the federal government.
Bokhari has been appointed as an independent director and chairperson of PTV in a notification issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Naeem Bokhari is not a new name for Pakistanis, he is the most versatile personality the local media industry can have.

Personal Life
Naeem was born to Dr. Syed Altaf Hussain Bokhari in Lahore in 1948.
He is the younger brother of Pakistan’s fast bowler Saleem Altaf Bokhari who played from 1967 to 1978.
Bokhari married popular ghazal singer Tahira Syed in 1975 and the couple has two children.
The duo parted ways in 1990 and Naeem remarried Tamannah Khan in 1995.
Personality
Naeem Bokhari is a bright, and charismatic character, coming out as an adroit in whatever he chose to do, be it hosting or legal practice.
When he is a host, he is friendly and affable, he can turn serious talks into cheerful gossips in a matter of time.

Naeem Bokhari recently made a statement after becoming Chairman PTV.
He said that the state television will only represent the government, adding that it was “not like any other channel”.
