The measure has been taken in view after the surfacing of novel coronavirus cases among the employees after which the meetings of standing, special, standing, and functional committees were deferred.
However, before the decision to shut down the parliament house was taken, the precautionary measures were largely flouted during an event organized in the green area of the parliament house on Thursday.
The distancing in the seating arrangement and other Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) were not followed by the organizers.
