NCOC Celebrates 500 Days of Brilliance Against Covid-19

The civil and military leadership had all plaudits for the body for its brilliant efforts to lead the nation amid the pandemic situation

August 8 marked 500 days of National Command and Control Center (NCOC) becoming operational and the top brass of the country commended the body considered the nucleus of national efforts against covid-19 in Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa along with other ministers had all plaudits for the body for its brilliant efforts to lead the nation amid the pandemic situation.

To praise its work, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) shared a video titled “Azam-e-Alishan (NCOC: a Unified Endeavour)”.

Prime Minister Imran Khan took to his Twitter to appreciate the strategies developed by what is considered the nerve center of anti-covid measures in the country.

President Arif Alvi also sang the praises of NCOC.

On behalf of COAS, ISPR shared a statement saying, “NCOC has remained pivotal to Pakistan’s riposte against COVID-19. It symbolizes an optimized national response to adversity, saving precious lives. Accolades for the NCOC team on completing 500 days of continuous struggle & delivery”.

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry expressed that balanced lockdown in light of NCOC’s orders and focus on the poor and working classes brought up the desired results.
