One-on-one Meeting between PM and Governor of Punjab, Real Story Unfolded
Imran Khan strongly rebuked Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar's statements in London and advised him to stay away from Jahangir Tareen.
The inside story of the meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Governor of Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar came to light. Sources said that the Prime Minister has reprimanded the Governor of Punjab while expressing his anger over his statements during his visit to UK.
According to sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan had a one-on-one meeting with the Governor of Punjab on the occasion of his last visit to Lahore. On this occasion, the Prime Minister expressed his displeasure over the statements made by Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar regarding the IMF and inflation in the UK and asked why and in what context he had made those statements.

According to sources, Imran Khan asked him if he had met the anti-PTI people during his visit to London, to which the Governor of Punjab could not give a satisfactory answer.
The Prime Minister told him that some people were working with Jahangir Tareen to bring down the government, so I suggest that you stay away from Jahangir Khan.
On the other hand, the sources also said that after the return of Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar, PTI leader Jahangir Tareen has left for London where he is scheduled to meet the anti-PTI people.
It may be recalled that during the Punjab Governor’s visit to the United Kingdom, Josh had said in his speech that the government had pledged Pakistan’s sovereignty in return for a 6 billion loan from the IMF. He said that 6 billion is to be received in the form of two, two billion in three years while Pakistanis living abroad send 30 billion dollars every year.
Talking about inflation, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar had said that we are fully aware that inflation is rising in the country and the government has failed to control it.
Later, the Governor of Punjab had said that his statement regarding IMF loan was distorted.
