Outlawed TTP hoists flag in Mir Ali market in North Waziristan
Banned TTP hoisted its flag in Mir Ali Bazaar and released a threatening video message. MNA Mohsin Dawar termed the situation as very alarming. Police took down the flag.
The outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has released a warning video waving its flag in North Waziristan’s Mir Ali market.
The Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from NA-48 North Waziristan, Mohsin Dawar, shared the video released by the Taliban on his Twitter handle and described the situation as alarming.
In a video shared by Mohsin Dawar, a flag of the outlawed TTP is hoisted on an electricity pole in Mir Ali Bazar, North Waziristan, while armed men are issuing a warning message in the local language.
He wrote, “Very alarming & concerning scenes from Mir Ali bazar, N.Waziristan where Taliban hoisted their flag & issued warnings in this video from last night.A new great game and a new war is underway with Pakhtunkhwa as the primary battleground. All at the cost of the lives of our people.”

According to Khorasan Diary, the TTP flag installed in Mir Ali Baz has been taken down by the police.
