Peace-loving Pakistan responds to India’s off-ground conspiracies on cricket field

DUBAI: Dubai International Stadium was packed with spectators supporting Pakistan and India. Indian bowler ran in and bowled to Babar Azam who guided the bowl to on side and took two runs leading green shirts to an historic win against their arch rival. It was not only Pakistan’s win, but a befitting reply to India’s off ground conspiracy that led to cancellation of recent tours of New Zealand and England to the country as well as threats hurled at foreign players warning them against  playing in the Kashmir Premier League.

This was Pakistan’s first-ever victory against India in the world cup.

Last month, first New Zealand called off Pakistan tour citing security threats and later England followed the suit.

When investigated, it was revealed that a threatening email that prompted Kiwis to call off the Pakistan tour was sent from Mumbai.

Pakistan’s Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that a fake social media post was shared with former TTP commander Ehsanullah Ehsan’s name in August. The fake post had warned the New Zealand cricket team against touring Pakistan, saying  Daesh would attack them.

On August 24, New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill’s wife received a threatening email from an ID using the Tehreek-e-Labbaik alias. The email said that Guptill will be killed during tour to Pakistan.

Fawad disclosed that the email was created on August 24, 2021 at 01:05am and the email message was sent at 11:59am on August 25.

Pakistan being a peace loving a country did not indulge in any dirty game to respond to the India’s conspiracy.

After cancellation of tours by New Zealand and England Pakistan remained calm and focused on its cricket.

Yesterday in the presence of thousands of spectators in the ground and millions on TV screens around the world Pakistan gave a befitting reply to India’s anti-sports conspiracies by defeating them in the T20 World Cup game.
