The first match of the two-Test series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi from Monday, December 26, while the second Test match has also been shifted to Karachi after consultation between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the New Zealand Cricket Board.

So far 60 Test matches between Pakistan and New Zealand were played, of which the Shaheens had won 25, while the Black Caps defeated Pakistan in 14, while 21 matches have been drawn.

In 1984, under the leadership of Javed Miandad, the Pakistani team once again reached New Zealand to play 3 Test matches. The special thing about this series was that Wasim Akram, the Sultan of Swing, was discovered in it.
