Pakistan had started winning Test matches against New Zealand

Shaheens got their first win in the domestic and overseas test match against New Zealand. The national cricket team visited New Zealand for the first time in 1964 where Pakistan’s winning rate was high.

The first match of the two-Test series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi from Monday, December 26, while the second Test match has also been shifted to Karachi after consultation between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the New Zealand Cricket Board.

In Pakistan’s tour of New Zealand, Asif Iqbal and Mushtaq Mohammad set a record of 350 runs partnership for the fourth wicket in the history of Pakistan’s Test cricket.

Asif Iqbal and Mushtaq Muhammad’s partnership record of 350 runs is still standing even after a long period of 47 years. Mushtaq Muhammad’s double century and 5 wickets are also a part of history.

In 1984, under the leadership of Javed Miandad, the Pakistani team once again reached New Zealand to play 3 Test matches. The special thing about this series was that Wasim Akram, the Sultan of Swing, was discovered in it.

Javed Miandad and Qasim Umar’s aggressive batting and Wasim Akram’s dangerous bowling proved Pakistan to be the best team in the world, but unfortunately, the series went out of Pakistan’s hands.
