Saarey Music App Victorious at Columbia Venture Competition
The music app has been a hit among the classical-music enthusiasts in Pakistan

Saarey Music App, a music streaming service, has won first place in the art, music, entertainment, and media category in the fall edition of the Columbia Venture Competition.
Saarey Music has been launched by a record company called “Saarey” which is specially designed for Pakistani classical music.
Columbia University in New York hosts the Columbia Venture Competition every year. In 2020, 150 teams from 13 disciplines took part in the competition.
However, the Pakistani music app has won first place after giving a tough time to the competitors.
Pakistan’s famous singer and songwriter Ali Zafar has also tweeted about the achievement of the music app on his Twitter account.

Since its launch this year, the music app Saarey has been a hit among the classical-music enthusiasts in Pakistan. The app users can enjoy timeless melodious songs including those of Roshan Ara Begum, Ustaad Shaukat Hussain, Ustaad Amanat Ali khan, and Ustaad Fateh Ali Khan.
Besides, raag, khayal and thamri music can be heard anytime anywhere as it is also available offline on Saarey Music.
