Pakistani bowlers bowled most no-balls but conceded no boundary on Free Hits

Greenshirts bowled 10 no-balls in the mega event.

Pakistan in their journey in the T20 World Cup are still unbeaten. The Greenshirts will take on Australia in the semi-final. Both the bowlers and batters have given 100 per cent performance in the mega event.

However, Pakistani bowlers have bowled 10 no-balls, the highest in the tournament by any team. But, the interesting fact is that no batter was able to hit a boundary on the subsequent Free Hits.

 

Mazher Arshad, a cricket statistician shared this on Twitter. “Pakistan have bowled 10 no-balls in the T20 World Cup (the most by any team). But in 10 subsequent Free Hits, no batsman was able to hit a boundary to their bowlers,” he wrote on Twitter.

This shows the extraordinary performance of Pakistani bowlers in the ongoing tournament.

Pakistan in their group match beat Scotland by 72 wickets on Sunday.

Batting first Greenshirts set a 190 runs target for Scotland.

In reply, Scotland could only made 117 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 6 wickets.
