Partial Relief for Imran Khan from IHC in Toshakhana Case

Margalla Hills National Party, Navy Golf Course, illegal constructions, IHC, detailed verdict

The IHC on Friday set aside a session court’s verdict that had declared the Toshakhana reference filed by the Election Commission of Pakistan against the PTI chairman as maintainable for criminal proceedings.

But the Islamabad court verdict is being construed as partial relief for Chairman PTI as the case has been referred to the same bench of trial court for rehearing, which means Justice Humayun Dilawar will again hear the case.

PTI has accused the trial court judge of being biased against Imran Khan and shown its no confidence on him during the whole trial process.
