The political situation is hit by uncertainty as only 8 to 9 days are left for the voting on the no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan but the political parties of the opposition benches and coalition partners of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government are still reluctant to show cards.
There is a sign of the distance between the Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PTI) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the Centre. The sources within PTI told News360 that Imran Khan has given a clear message to the Chaudhry brothers that PML-Q will need to merge into PTI for getting the chief minister slot in Punjab.
It was learnt that PM’s aide Maulana Tahir Ashrafi asked PML-Q not to end its support to the PTI, on the other hand, PM Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) also failed to appease the ally party.

Sources said that Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had expressed resentment over a federal minister’s statement to dent the coalition partnership.
Yesterday, the Chaudhry brothers had chaired the parliamentary party’s session to take important decisions were taken regarding the strategy of the no-confidence motion, however, the clear version of the political party’s decisions is due to come.
In an informal media talk, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that assemblies will complete their term. However, he did not give a clear message for the party’s support to the government or the opposition. Besides, he asked the premier to continue the efforts to foil the no-confidence motion.
Analysts said that Pervaiz Elahi’s statement regarding the term of the assemblies was a political statement. They questioned who will be the next prime minister for the next 1.5 years if the opposition’s no-trust move gets successful.

They added that the ally party has seemingly opened all options like other political parties. The no-trust move has now become an issue for all political parties to decide on the future of the government.
In another statement yesterday, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had claimed that they will bring electoral reforms after the success of the no-trust move.
Analysts said that Bilawal’s statement raised questions about whether Imran Khan will join the opposition to bring the election reforms after being removed through the no-trust move. They added that PTI will remain a major political power in the National Assembly for having over 150 seats.
They said that besides the internal challenges, the country is now facing external challenges too after Imran Khan criticised the European Union (EU), whereas, Bilawal alleged that Imran Khan did come to the power through the funding of India and Israel.
