PPP leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah release delayed once again

The release of PPP leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has been delayed for another day. His son Syed Zirak Shah said that a bond of Rs 10 million was submitted to the court, however, the accountability court has not issued a release order as the bail orders have not been confirmed by the Supreme Court

Syed Zirak Shah, son of Khursheed Shah, reached the Sukkur accountability court this morning and submitted a bond of Rs 10 million for bail. However, his release order could not be issued

Talking to media outside the accountability court, Khursheed Shah’s son Syed Zirak Shah said that we have submitted a bond of Rs 10 million to the accountability court but his bail orders have not been confirmed by the Supreme Court. He said he hoped his release would be possible tomorrow

It may be recalled that the Supreme Court had yesterday granted bail to PPP leader Khursheed Shah Jan in a case of assets worth over Rs 1.23 billion in exchange for bail bonds of Rs 10 million
