A pressure group has emerged within the Coordination Committee of the MQM-P, demanding to part ways with the government after it failed to control rising inflation.

Amir Khan, a key member of the coordination committee, said that the inflation had broken backbone of poor. He said that the government do not consult the MQM-P while making important decisions.

There is an option of parting ways with the government, but the decision will be made by the party, Amir Khan said.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, he said that the decisions that cause public protests should not be taken.

On the other hand, an important meeting of the MQM-Pakistan’s coordination committee was held that lasted for three hours.

The MQM-Pakistan has a lot of pressure of its voters in the wake of rising inflation and being part of the federal government.

The coordination committee said that the MQM-P will soon chalk out its political strategy keeping in view of the rising inflation.

Sources in the coordination committee said that it was decided in the meeting that MQM-P will meet with different political parties and leaders and decide the future plan.

The meeting discussed various political options and the damages caused to the party for being an ally of the government. A proposal to leave the ministries was also discussed.

Meanwhile, other coalition partners of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has also started becoming angry with federal government. PML-Q’s Kamil Ali Agha also complained that the government do not consult them while making important decisions.
