Ramazan in War-Hit Middle East

The majority of Yemenis welcome Ramzan in poverty and hunger for the 6th year, where millions of families have to spend fasting month living off supplies.

This sharp decline in currency was warned last year by the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) in Yemen that Riyal lost 250 % of its value, food prices have gone up by 140%.

To help the poor make it through, many stores & shops have lowered prices.
