Raqs-e-Bismil, a popular Hum TV drama serial has broken TRP records recently and it has become the talk of the town but there is something more to it, the beautiful poster of Raqs-e-Bismil is a facsimile of the Mary Magdalene and Jesus painting.
The poster of the drama with stellar cast including Sarah Khan and Imran Ashraf garnered attention from fans as soon as it was released not only due to its spectacular appearance but because of its resemblance with a painting associated with Christianity.

The drama serial with its exceptional plot broke the records of rating not only in Pakistan but globally too.
Produced by Shazia Wajahat and Momina Duraid, written by Hashim Nadeem, the drama grabbed the attention since the first episode was on-aired.
Meanwhile, the viewers are crediting the team behind the play for its creativity and out-of-the-box publicity stunt.
However, this is not the only instance that a drama poster was themed on a Christian painting.
Earlier, the movie and novel The Da Vinci Code were based on the painting by Leonardo Da Vinci The Last Supper.
The Last Supper was a 15th-century painting that portrayed the reaction given by each apostle, an early Christian teacher when Jesus said that one of them could betray him.
