Rawalpindi’s Charlie Chaplin spreading smiles on people’s faces
Ali says silent comedy is a difficult art, but the encouragement of people keeps him motivated for his work.
A Rawalpindi youth namely Ali appearing in the gesture of Charlie Chaplin is spreading smile on people’s faces in Islamabad.
Ali scatter smiles on the faces everywhere when he leaves his house while decorating a small moustache, wearing a black hat and waving a stick.
We asked Ali how did he think of becoming Charlie Chaplin?
Ali said he was fond of acting since childhood. Everyone still likes the comic character of the past is Charlie Chaplin, so he decided to choose to be the character.
“Everyone is happy with him and takes selfies with him,” said young Ali.
He said that “he has also played the role of the Hollywood movie Dark Knight, the role of Amitabh Bachchan, the emperor and other leading characters.”
Ali says it is a difficult task to make a silent comedy, but the encouragement of people keeps him doing this.”
He said that sometimes, he faces interesting situations while appearing as Charlie Chaplin. Ali said that he once arrived at a ceremony Charlie Chaplin’s gesture and then he realised that he forgot to wear his fake moustache. However, he finds a solution immediately and used black tape to replace his small moustache.
He said that people are happy and give them cash and prizes. While expressing his desires, he said that he wants him to be given the opportunity to express his art in dramas and films too.
