Renowned TV actor Sohail Asghar passes away

Sohail Asghar, the leading actor of the Pakistan showbiz industry, has passed away after a protracted illness.

According to his family, actor Sohail Asghar was ill for the last one-and-a-year since his gastric surgery. He was under treatment for the last one week at the hospital.

The senior stage and TV actor started his career from Lahore.

His famous TV dramas include Chand Grahan, Khuda Ki Basti, Dukh Sukh, Haveli, Kajal Ghar, Raiza Raiza and Piyas.

Born in Lahore, Sohail Asghar joined Radio Pakistan after completing his education. He worked as a radio jockey from 1978 to 1988. Later, he started working in theatre.

In 2003, Sohail Asghar made his debut in the film industry with film ‘Murad’.
