Shibli Faraz, the federal minister for science and technology had challenged hackers to hack the electronic voting machine (EVM), announcing prize money of Rs1 million for those managed to hack the machine.

It should be noted that yesterday, the government had passed 33 laws including the Election Amendment Bill 2021, which allows the use of electronic voting machine in the next elections and right to vote to the overseas Pakistanis.
The joint opposition, including the PML-N and the PPP had announced to challenge the bill in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
