Sanitation Agreement between Sindh Solid Waste Management Authority and KATI

Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab said in agreement, solid waste management would be carried out from all industries of Korangi district.

An agreement has been signed between Sindh Solid Waste Management Authority and Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) for cleaning the air city.

The Sindh government has taken another positive step to clean up the city of Karachi. Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab‘s efforts for cleaning the city came to fruition. An agreement was reached to collect garbage from all industries in Korangi district.

Elaborating on the details of the agreement, Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab said that under the agreement, solid waste management would be carried out by the municipal government to collect garbage from all industries in Korangi district.

Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that with the agreement, municipal waste from industries would be disposed of in a proper manner. This is a good move to streamline the city’s sanitation system.

Administrator Karachi further said that other industrial associations of the city are also requested to enter into such agreements. We are solving all the problems of Karachi city as our responsibility.

Spokesman of Sindh government and administrator Karachi said that the solid waste goes into the canals and blocks the canals which causes problems to the citizens. He thanked the officials of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) for concluding the Municipal Waste Disposal Agreement.
