Shaniera Akram shared a heartfelt note on Instagram regarding the long-distance relationship between her husband Wasim and daughter Aiyla Akram.
Amid the covid-19 pandemic, people are suffering terribly because of the suspension of flight operations in many countries, and Shaniera Akram, wife of former Pakistani left-arm fast bowler Wasim Akram, is one of them.
Shaniera has been very active on social media and keeps filling in her fans with glimpses of her life.

She posted a snap of Aiyla perched on her father’s shoulders and penned down a note for her husband to let him know the changes going on in their daughter’s life.

“The last time she hugged him she was 5 years old and now just 5 months away from turning 7”, she mentioned.
She described the little changes Aiyla has gone through and informed Wasim that their daughter has finished half a year of school, she has grown 2 dress sizes, lost 5 teeth, and most incredibly, the preschooler knows that she is a mix of two incredible countries.
“She can not only say the words “I love you daddy” in English, Urdu, and Chinese but also spell them too!”, Shaniera added.
Notably, the couple has been living separately for the past several months due to covid-19 restrictions.
