Senior journalist Mohammad Malick came under fire for a sexist remark on former women cricket team captain Sana Mir upon which Shaniera Akram and netizens roasted him for using the term lady commentator’.
Sana Mir is the former captain of the national women’s cricket team who represented in both One Day International (ODIs) and T20s.
During her tenure, she played in 226 international matches and became Pakistan’s first bowler to take 100 wickets.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Breaking point with Malick host raised a question on Sana Mir’s commentary.

Further, freelance journalist Afia Salam joined the club and suggested addressing the person with their names instead of calling them by highlighting their gender.
