Renowned Pakistani singer Shehzad Roy took to social networking site Twitter to raise his voice on problems faced by Karachi.
Karachi, the ‘city of lights’, is an absolute case of political mismanagement. The conditions of the city have worsened over the years.
Illegal construction, encroachments, damaged roads, and garbage dumps are sadly in a bad state.
Famous celebrities are also now raising their voices against the neglect faced by megacity at the hands of federal and provincial governments.
Music artist Shehzad Roy tweeted recently expressed his concerns about Karachi’s welfare.
He said, “In next elections, I will vote for the party who will clean #karachi… that means I will not vote at all”.

Fakhar-e-Alam also expressed his disappointment over Karachi’s dim situation and highlighted how the city has been neglected.
He said, “Karachi has been in a state of denial….it baffles everyone that the country’s largest city has only regressed over time. I say this with no political bias just as a citizen. It is almost like people of Karachi have been abandoned”.
