Spotify Partners With Netflix to Offer Official Soundtracks

Spotify and Netflix are two of the most popular streaming platforms out there, they just stream different types of media. Spotify just published a blog post announcing a new partnership with Netflix. This partnership will bring Netflix content soundtracks directly to Spotify.

The unprecedentedly successful show Squid Game appears to be the cause of this camaraderie. Spotify said in the announcement that after the launch of Squid Game, there were more than 22,500 specific themed playlists inspired by the show. Because of this, Spotify and Netflix reached an agreement that brings Netflix music to Spotify.

They created what is called the Netflix Hub. This is a new section in the Spotify app where you can find Netflix music. This music is in the form of playlists or even the original soundtracks. You can look for the tab or just search for “Netflix” in the Spotify app.

In that tab, you will be able to see the official music of the original Netflix programming. You can also get music from other content. You will have access to playlists inspired by La Casa De Papel, Brigerton and On My Block.

If you want original soundtracks, you can listen to music from Bruised, Cowboy BeBop and Squid Game. There will be more movies and shows added to this list.

Compaies don’t stop at music for this partnership. Along with playlists and soundtracks, those using the Netflix Hub will also watch podcasts focused on Netflix shows. These podcasts include Okay, Now Listen, Netflix Is A Daily Joke, 10/10 (I would recommend), and The Crown: The Official Podcast.

Right now, there’s even a behind-the-scenes look at the hit movie The Harder They Fall. It will delve into how the film’s soundtrack was combined. All of this will be included in the Netflix Hub, and you will be able to access it even if you are a free member.
