One of the recent mocking attempts against Café Cannoli that fails is Sugar Daddy’s marketing campaign inviting the citizens of Lahore to try out the restaurant without being judged for language skills.

The marketing brochure was meant to criticize the famous incident of language biasness, was itself published in the English language.
Moreover, the brochure has multiple spelling mistakes and the name of the eatery itself is an “English” word.
The word Sugar Daddy has been written twice in the pamphlet, one time with spacing, however, the other time without space.
In addition, the English word “Colonialism” has also been misspelled in the invitation.
Whereas, the invitation by the restaurant maintained that the customers can enjoy fast food in the eatery without being judged over language skills.
Sugar Daddy, in an attempt to poke fun at Café Cannoli, sadly ignores the content and language of their competitive marketing brochure.

It is worth mentioning here, that the controversial Café Cannoli has changed its name after the incident, however, Sugar Daddy itself is a perverted term.
A few days back, a video went viral on social media in which the female owners of the restaurant were making fun of their manager over his poor language grip.
The video stirred a debate on social media and the recent Sugar Daddy’s Marketing attempt has been in the response to that incident, however, fails and receives backlash from society.
If it was in Urdu, it might have actually worked better and less cringe
