Supreme Court’s Written Order On Karachi’s Three Controversial Buildings

The court directed the commissioner Karachi to submit a report at the next hearing regarding demolition of Tijori Heights and Nasla Tower.

The Supreme Court Karachi Registry has issued written judgment for the November 26 hearings of Nasla Tower, Tijori Heights and Albari Tower.

The Supreme Court Karachi Registry has issued a written decision on the Nasla Tower case and ordered that the Commissioner Karachi should employ 400 laborers instead of 200 laborers to demolish Nasla Tower. The court order said that the commissioner Karachi said that 200 people were involved in the demolition of Nasla Tower.

According to the written decision, Commissioner Karachi Iqbal Memon should ensure the demolition of Nasla Tower within a week. The process of demolition of Nasla Tower should also be made safe.

The Supreme Court has issued a written order for a hearing on November 26 in the tijori Heights case. According to the verdict, Raza Rabbani, a lawyer for tijori Heights, had asked for a 20-day respite to demolish the tijori Heights and pick up debris.

The court has given a respite of 20 days to the Tejori Heights Builder to remove the debris and directed the Commissioner Karachi to ensure the process of removal of debris from the Tejuri Heights.

In the Albari Tower case, the Supreme Court issued a written decision restraining the builder from transferring the property till further orders. The written decision said that at the next hearing, the Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Works would present all the records of the land.

According to the court order, Rasheed A. Rizvi, lawyer of Albari Tower, sought respite from the court, on which the court has ordered to submit documents related to the ownership of Albari Tower land within a month.
