Terrorism again on the rise in KPK
3 soldiers were martyred by firing by cross-border terrorists in Kurram Agency, six people were killed in a remote bomb blast in Bandi area of Swat district, while 7 employees of a mobile phone company were abducted from Matta Tehsil.
In terms of terrorism, yesterday was the most unfortunate day for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Swat and Kohat areas were rocked by explosions in a few hours, as a result of cross-border firing at Kurram Agency, three army men were martyred, while Ben from Matta Tehsil was killed. Seven employees of an international mobile phone company were kidnapped.
Terrorists from Afghanistan across the border opened fire on the Pakistan Army post in Kurram Agency, as a result of which three soldiers were martyred.

Firing at Pakistan Army from across the border
According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), the incident took place in the tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where three soldiers of the Pakistan Army were martyred by firing from across the border. Naik Mohammad Rehman, Naik Muwaiz Afridi, and Sepoy Irfanullah are among the martyred youths.
According to DG ISPR, Pakistan Army retaliated against the terrorists, due to which the terrorists had to suffer heavy casualties.
Spokesperson ISPR said in its statement that Pakistan strongly condemns the use of Afghan territory by terrorists and Pakistan expects that the Afghan government will not allow such operations in the future.
Vehicle attack in Swat
A remote control explosion occurred on the vehicle of a member of the peace committee in Bandi, Swat region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as a result of which 5 people including peace committee member Idris Khan died on the spot.
In the remote control bomb attack, 5 people including Peace Committee member Idris Khan were killed while the vehicle was also completely destroyed.
Willis officials say that the preliminary investigation has revealed that the explosion was done by remote control.
According to DPO Swat, Head Constable Ramil and Constable Tawheed are among the dead policemen, while two passers-by, Sanaullah son of Qadim, and an unknown person, have died.
A statement released by the banned TTP claimed responsibility for the attack, saying Idris Khan had been on their hit list for nearly 13 years.

Grenade attack in Kohat
A few hours later, a grenade attack took place at Biltang police station in Kohat, in which seven persons including the SHO, four constables, and two civilians were seriously injured.
The blast, which took place on Tuesday night, followed public threats by a banned outfit.
Rescue 1122 rushed the injured to KDA Teaching Hospital where doctors are providing medical aid to the injured.
The names of the injured personnel are SHO Abdul Rauf Khan, Constable Muzaffar Hussain, Matiullah Khan, Atiq, and Osama. Apart from two civilians, Arif and Sohail Khan, who were present at the police station, were also injured.
Later CTD started the investigation by registering an FIR against unknown terrorists.
On the other hand, a private news agency, Khorasan Diary, has reported from its sources that “seven employees of an international mobile service company operating in Pakistan have been abducted this afternoon from Tehsil Matta of Swat district. In the call, a ransom of Rs 10 crore has been demanded the release of the employees.
