TikToker Sania Khan allegedly killed by her ex-husband

A TikTok figure Sania Khan has allegedly been killed by her ex-husband after ‘ending an abusive marriage’ and failing ‘to have support from her family’.

The details were revealed by Komal Shahid in her Twitter message in which she said that Sania Khan decided to end an abusive marriage but her ex-husband allegedly killed her.

The slain TikToker wrote a message before her murder, “Going through a divorce as a Southasian woman feels like you failed at life sometimes. The way the community labels you, the lack of emotional support you receive, and the pressure to stay with someone because “what will people say” is isolating. It makes it harder for women to leave marriages that they shouldn’t have been in to begin with,:

She added that Khan did not have support from her family or society. Shahid said that Pakistanis care more about their reputation than their child’s happiness. “A divorced daughter is better than a dead daughter!” Komal Shahid concluded.

A netizen sought the whereabouts of her killer, Ms Shahid replied that he also committed suicide when police reached to arrest him.

Another user wrote, “Our society has become a dead body, we don’t have respect & care for others, we are biased, don’t like justice, have zero value for happiness, for peace of mind. Time is nothing for us. We are all in something known as ‘relationship’ but with benefits and brutality. We are no more humans.”
