A traffic police officer in Pakistan’s second-largest city, Lahore, has been suspended by the higher authorities for making TikTok videos of women crossing the road, but social circles say that the suspension is not a punishment and served as a lesson to such a person.
They said that exemplary punishment should be given to the traffic cop as controlling traffic is a serious task and the slightest negligence can ruin many families.
Malik Ali Raza, an anchorperson associated with Rose TV, while sharing the TikTok video of police officer Imran, wrote that “This traffic police officer, whose name is Imran, made videos of girls on his TikTok account while on duty.”
“I don’t know from where he belongs to, but after watching his actions, the concerned authorities should take notice.” Later, the traffic authorities suspended police officer Imran from his job and ordered an inquiry against him.

At the place where police officer Imran was performing his duty, he used to make videos of women passing by with his mobile camera and upload them on his Tik Tok account.
After the video shared by the anchorperson went viral, “CTO Lahore has immediately suspended the traffic assistant for making videos of women crossing the road and posting them on social media and started an inquiry.”
A message shared by the City Traffic Police Lahore on its Twitter handle said, “Strict departmental action will be taken in the light of the inquiry report. Those who bring the force into disrepute will be dealt with strictly.” ”
Punjab Police has also shared the news of the suspension of traffic police officer Imran on its official Twitter account.
In the statement issued by the Punjab Police, it has been said that the elements who brought the force into disrepute do not deserve any concession, strict action will be taken against Imran.
In her reaction, Nimra Zabeen praised the action of the police and wrote, “He should be severely punished so that no policeman dares to do this in the future.”
