Uncivilised politics: Capt (r) Safdar launches personal attack on Fawad Chaudhry
Political observers urged PML-N leader to apologise to Fawad Chaudhry and his family.
Capt (retd) Muhammad Safdar, the husband of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz hitting below the belt has criticised Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and his family.
To a question while speaking to journalists, Safdar alleged that Fawad Chaudhry’s late uncle had died in a state of intoxication.
When a journalist said that the information minister had called you Sicilian Mafia, Safdar replied that his (Fawad Chaudhry’s) family is corrupt. When his uncle became a judge of the Lahore High Court, all the cases came to Fawad Chaudhry.” They had stabbed the Mughals in the back and gave the British a red carpet welcome on the Jhelum River.

Talking about Fawad Chaudhry, the PML-N leader further said that he should look back in his past. He was in the PPP, in the PML-Q and now he is with Imran Khan. When Nawaz Sharif did not take him in the party, now he is giving us the title of Sicilian Mafia. If I say something, pain will be felt in Jhelum, he added.

Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar said: “I also know about the movies that are very dangerous and made in Bannu.”
Political analysts say Italian scholar Niccolo Machiavelli had first presented the theory of separating politics from morality. They said that despite differences morality should be ensured while criticising rivals.
They added that the PML-N leader should apologise to Fawad Chaudhry and his family.
