Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership claimed that the party’s supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif, who is in London since November 2019, was allegedly attacked by four masked men who tried to enter Hassan Nawaz’s office.

The former prime minister was present on the premises at the time of incident and it was claimed that Abid Sher Ali and bodyguards stopped the assailants.
Shehbaz Sharif demanded that the London police and relevant officials should investigate the matter.
PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz also condemned the attack and said, “Nawaz Sharif is the voice of people of Pakistan and he will not be silenced”.
Resorting to gross CRIMINALITY in the face of political frustration and defeat. Peoples voice will not be silenced by low life 3rd rate criminals.#NawazSharif is the voice of the people of Pakistan and will not be silenced, Insha’Allah.

However, the British police didn’t confirm the attack but the details they shared sketched a different story.
As per them, the veiled men who tried to enter Hassan Nawaz’s office were unarmed and no violence took place.
Apart from this, the police were of the view that PML-N leaders didn’t contact the police on the available emergency numbers.
Additionally, it could be seen in the video that the alleged assailants were holding some documents in their hands and walked up to their vehicle after talks.
The clarification on the incident has made PML-N’s stance shady while unconfirmed assertions could stir up diplomatic trouble for political party as well as the country.
