Pakistan People’s Party Co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari and former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf telephoned Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) founder Tahir-ul-Qadri and inquired about his health.

Both leaders of Pakistan People’s Party congratulated PAT Chief Tahir-ul-Qadri on the completion of his first Audio-Book.

The launching ceremony of audiobook titled “Huzoor Nabi Akram ﷺ ka Paikar e Jamal” authored by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was held last month at the central secretariat of MQI.

A spokesman for the Pakistan People’s Party said that Allama Tahir-ul-Qadri was not well for the last few days, but now he is healthy.

Political analysts say that on one side, due to the economic policies of the government, the country is facing high inflation while on the other chaos is prevailing due to the tensions between the government and the banned TLP. Political pundits said that Asif Ali Zardari’s contact with Tahir-ul-Qadri may result in a new political nexus.

It should be noted that Allama Tahir-ul-Qadri, while addressing a video link in June, had criticised Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that Model Town was a historical tragedy. We had full hope for justice from Imran Khan but he did not fulfill his promise, he added.

Allama Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the Model Town cases are still there where they stood seven years ago.
