British Prime Minister (PM) Boris Johnson managed to drive his country out of Europe through Brexit but he failed to convince his father who has applied for a French passport as he wants to remain a European rest of his life.
The father of the British PM Boris Johson, Stanley Johnson, who has applied for a French passport, had served as a member of the European Parliament and voted against Brexit in the referendum carried out in 2016 in the United Kingdom (UK).
He told RTL radio service that he wanted to become a French citizen after the British cut-off with European Union (EU). The reason for this he cited was that he had strong family links to the French land.
“If I understand it correctly, I am French. My mother was born in France, her mother was totally French as was her grandfather”, he told the RTL radio in French.
