Is India Involved In The Christchurch Massacre?

Brenton Tarrant, who attacked mosques in Christchurch in New Zealand, had spent three months in India which creates suspicion if the country is behind the Christchurch massacre.

On March 15, 2019, Brenton Tarrant targeted two mosques in Christchurch and killed 51 people including nine Pakistan-origin citizens.

Indian intelligence agencies have revealed that the attacker who attacked Christchurch had visited India in the past.

Following the directions from their counterparts in New Zealand, Indian intelligence agencies launched an investigation into Tarrant’s three-month visit to India.

They found that Tarrant, an Australian, had traveled extensively in India between November 21, 2015, and February 18, 2016.

According to Indian media, Brenton Tarrant spent about 3 months in Mumbai, Jaipur, and Goa.

The attacker stayed in India from November 21, 2015, to February 18, 2016.

During this time, he lived in 7 to 8 low-cost accommodations. He also used to hang out with other tourists.

Intelligence agencies are investigating, but it is yet unknown why Brenton Tarrant visited India.

The question which is still unanswered is if India was behind the Christchurch attack. Surprisingly, the attacker traveled alone in different countries from 2014 to 2017.

Before the attack in 2019, Brenton Tarrant had made anti-Muslim comments in various posts on social media platforms.

It should be noted that the 29-year-old terrorist had streamed the heinous activity live on the social networking website Facebook.
