WEB DESK: The passionate former Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi came in defense of his ex-teammate Muhammad Amir during the sixth match of Lanka Premier League (LPL) played on Monday.
Galle Gladiators Captain Shahid Afridi had a scowl on his face when he came across Kandy Tuskers’ pacer from Afghanistan, Naveen-ul-Haq.
Tensions flared when Naveen allegedly abused Muhammad Amir after he hit him for a boundary in 18th over and a six in 20th.

Naveen ul Haq of Kandy Tuskers allegedly hurled pejoratives at Amir even after the match was over. Amir also looked furious over the conduct of the young Afghani pacer.

Later, after the match, when the teams were greeting each other, Gladiators captain Shahid Afridi suddenly had a scowl on his face when Naveen came across. Boom Boom Afridi said “Kya Hogya?” (What happened?).
