Traffic Plan for Karachi Issued Ahead of PSL 2020 Final

SPORTS DESK: DIG Traffic office has issued an alternate-traffic plan for Karachiites ahead of the PSL 2020 final, which is being played in National Stadium Tuesday (Today).

According to the plan, to ensure maximum security, areas near to the National Stadium will remain closed for traffic.

A press release, issued by DIG Traffic advise motorists to take diversion routes to avoid inconvenience.

The release further say that authorities concerned will fully cooperate with the public.

Karsaz Road

As per the route plan, roads which link main Shahrah-e-Faisal to the Sir Shah Muhammad Suleman Road and Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road to the National Stadium will be closed for traffic.

Dalmia Road

Roads linking the Rashid Minhas Road to the National Stadium via the Dalmia will also remain closed.

People driving from Askari-IV, NIPA Chowrangi and Drig Road towards Shahrah-e-Faisal or Millennium Mall will have to take the Gulshan Chowrangi, Safoora, or Sohrab Goth route.

Hassan Square

Meanwhile from Liaquatabad via the Hassan Square flyover towards National Stadium will remain closed.

People are advised to divert towards the University Road to reach their destinations.

New Town and Surroundings

The University Road to New Town route leading to the National Stadium will also be closed.

People will have to take the PP Chowrangi, Jail Chowrangi, or the Shaheed-e-Millat road to avoid inconvenience.

People commuting from Liaquat National Hospital, Aga Khan University Hospital, and its surrounding areas will have to take the New Town Police Station route to reach out their destination.
