GDP To Remain Between 1.5 To 2.5% in Year 2020-21: SBP
Inflation rate has been projected between to 7 to 9 percent

BUSINESS DESK: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has projected that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth of the country to remain between 1.5 to 2.5 percent for the year 2020-21.
While the inflation rate has been projected between to 7 to 9 percent.
According to the central bank’s annual report, the remittances will remain between 22 to 23 billion dollars during the year 2020-21.
As per the SBP’s export projection, the export target will be between 23.4 to 23.8 billion dollars.
The import figures are high than export. The Bank projects that the import will remain between 42.8 to 43.7 billion dollars.
According to the SBP, fiscal deficit to range between 6.5 to 7.5 percent of the GDP and current account deficit to range between 1 to 2 percent of the GDP.
