Aamir Liaquat Hussain ‘out of danger’ after being taken to Karachi hospital

The PTI MNA said in a Twitter message that his condition is out of danger.

KARACHI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Aamir Liaquat Hussain said that his condition is out of danger after he was taken to a hospital in Karachi in critical condition.

He said in a Twitter message that his condition is out of danger and thanked the prime minister for expressing concerns over his deteriorated health. He also thanked the people who prayed for his health recovery and asked those to go back home who have gathered outside the hospital following his ailment reports.

Earlier on Thursday, Aamir Liaquat Hussain was admitted to a private hospital in Karachi due to serious illness.

The report came forth via a Twitter message in which he was seen lying on a hospital bed. The post read an appeal for prays for the early recovery of Aamir Liaquat Hussain.

The post was shared by the information secretary of PTI’s women wing Fauzia Siddiqui. The same message and picture were earlier tweeted from the official handle of Aamir Liaquat Hussain.

It was learnt that the PTI MNA was taken to South City Hospital yesterday in critical condition, however, further details were not disclosed so far.

Earlier in the month, the PTI MNA Aamir Liaquat Hussain had become headlines after he called for holding dialogues with Altaf Hussain if it could be held with the Taliban.

Aamir Liaquat Hussain, while addressing a rally in connection with Muhajir Culture Day in Karachi, had said, “If it is possible to hold talks with Taliban, then why not with Altaf Hussain.”

The PTI MNA, in front of a large number of participants, had asked people not to forget the one who had introduced the [Muhajir] ideology.

The video clip of Hussain’s address had gone viral on social media in which he was calling for holding negotiations with London-based Altaf Hussain, who is facing several cases of anti-state and hatred speeches in Pakistan. Farooq Sattar was also seen standing alongside Aamir Liaquat Hussain in the event.
