Father’s Day was observed on Sunday and Pakistanis along with the prominent figures whooped it up including ex-minister Abid Sher Ali who copied a heartfelt note on the day.

Yesterday, a number of celebrities in Pakistan penned down heart-touching notes for their fathers but Abid Sher Ali, who served as a minister of state for power, shared a note written by a female.

Abid Sher Ali also added that a little girl turns out to be a confident, resilient woman only if she knows her father has got her back.

“Teach your daughters how to fight, my father did!”, he ended the post.

The minister hurriedly copied the post from a source and couldn’t notice the gender that had penned it down. Later, he took in the boo-boo and deleted the post.

Apparently, the source was Hum News morning show host Shiffa Yousafzai.

Apart from Abid Sher Ali, a number of prominent personalities wished their fathers on the day as well but without any such blunders.
